This is a short guide with recommendations to add words to Forvo apart from what is clearly forbidden in our policy. Obviously, there are many many exceptions in this fabulous world of words to these basic rules.

- Non-natural expressions, such as abbreviations like "sb" or parentheses or slashes to indicate alternatives
As we encourage a natural way of adding words, cutting and pasting from other sources and entering en masse is not in the spirit of the natural language approach.
